Mie FUJIMOTO


Overview

Mie Fujimoto heads TMI’s cross-border labor and employment practice in Tokyo together with Motoi Fujii.  Ms. Fujimoto advises both domestic and international clients on all aspects of labor and employment, such as providing employment law advice in restructuring and M&A transactions, representing clients in employment disputes, investigating employee misconduct, advising on non-compete obligations, drafting work rules and employment contracts, and negotiating with trade unions.   In particular, Ms. Fujimoto has extensive experience in advising foreign clients in a wide variety of industries including retail, finance, IT, manufacturing, transportation and logistics, and human resources.   Having spent 9 years in the United States, she can communicate easily with English-speaking clients.

Ms. Fujimoto has been recognized as a leading individual for labor and employment in Legal 500 every year since 2013, and is ranked for Labor and Employment Law in Best Lawyers.
