2026年8月19日(水)、洛星高等学校（京都府京都市北区）の高校1年生7名が、東京研修プログラムの一環として、当事務所を訪問しました。
 
洛星高等学校では、4年前より東京大学やOBが勤務する国会、霞が関の省庁、企業などを訪問する東京研修を実施しています。本研修は、生徒が各分野で活躍するOBとの交流を通じて、文理選択を含む進路決定に向けて社会を広く知り、自らの生き方を模索することを目的としています。
今年も昨年に引き続き、洛星高等学校の卒業生である当事務所の弁護士2名が登壇し、自らのキャリアや弁護士という職業の魅力について紹介しました。

当日は、花本 浩一郎 弁護士と富田 裕 弁護士が、高校生にも分かりやすい形で当事務所の特徴や企業法務について説明しました。模擬法廷では、被告人と弁護士とのやりとりを再現し、裁判の場面を具体的にイメージしていただきながら法曹の仕事について紹介しました。また、災害や広告など、日常生活に身近なテーマを題材に、法律知識だけにとどまらず、弁護士ならではの視点から物事を考える面白さについてもお伝えしました。さらに、弁護士ならではのAIの活用方法についても紹介し、法曹の役割や弁護士の仕事の魅力だけでなく、その責任や難しさについても具体的に感じていただく機会となりました。

当事務所は今後も、このような教育活動を通じ、次世代を担う若者の学びと成長を支援してまいります。

Rakusei High School Students Visit Alumni Lawyers to Learn About Legal Careers During Tokyo Study Program

On Thursday, August 19, 2026, seven first-year students from Rakusei High School (Kita-ku, Kyoto) visited our firm as part of the school’s Tokyo Study Program.

For the past four years, Rakusei High School has participated in the Tokyo Study Program, including visits to institutions such as the University of Tokyo, the National Diet, government ministries in Kasumigaseki, and private companies. This program is designed to give students a broad understanding of society in order to help them make educational decisions (such as choosing between studying arts or sciences) and to explore their future career options, through interaction with the school’s alumni, including those active in various legal fields.
As in the previous year, two attorneys at our firm, who are also Rakusei High School graduates, gave a talk about their own career paths and the appeal of the legal profession.

At the event, attorneys Koichiro Hanamoto and Hiroshi Tomita explained TMI’s practice and corporate legal matters in an accessible manner for high school students. During a mock trial, they recreated exchanges between a defendant and an attorney, giving the students a valuable opportunity to visualize a courtroom setting and learn more details about the work performed by legal professionals.

Using familiar topics such as disaster preparedness and advertising, they also explored the intellectual appeal of approaching everyday issues from an attorney’s perspective, going beyond legal knowledge alone. Mr. Hanamoto and Mr. Tomita also introduced various ways in which attorneys can make use of AI in their work, giving the students a concrete understanding not only of the role of legal professionals and the appeal of a career as an attorney, but also of the responsibilities and challenges that come with the profession.

TMI will continue to foster the next generation of talent through educational activities, and thereby further contribute to the positive development of society.
